Articles should contain informational news (ie. something that is going to happen or did happen: Concerts, presentations, available town resources, town organizations, nature notes, birthday & well wishes).
Keep articles to a reasonable length in consideration of space limitations
Opinion pieces will not be published.
Articles should not be commercial in nature or promote a product, service, or company.
Articles should not expressly address any political candidate or issue
Articles are to be written from the point of view of the organization or event (ie: The Town Hall will be., The Fire Department is…., The Staff has been…)
Articles are not to be written in the 1st person singular (I, me, my, mine) or involve personal commentary.
Check content for spelling, grammar, accuracy, etc.
The publication is subject to space availability.
All accepted articles are subject to editing for style, clarity, guideline compliance, language, and length.
All Articles are due by the 20th of the month at midnight without exception.
